Job description

Provides direct patient care, ensures high quality patient care from self, and conducts self in a professional & respectful manor with all others at all times leading by example while making good use to time to meet the business need for SGHS. Ability to perform accurate total body CT scans according to protocol as ordered by a qualified medical provider and will consult with Radiologists for any contraindication(s) in the best interest of the patient. Ensure patient satisfaction by being compassionate in explaining the procedure to the patient and answer questions so he/she understands what to expect before and after the procedure. Responsible for the safe operation of CT equipment, power injector for contrast administration, and any other equipment/positioning aids utilized to complete ordered CT exams safely and successfully. Responsible for obtaining accurate medical histories, completing safety documents & consents with signatures, and ensuring accuracy of CT orders correlating with medical history, anatomy, and indications depicting medical necessity.
