Junior Mechanical Designer/Engineer

Job description

We're looking for a Junior Mechanical Designer/Engineer to join a global company in Lund. In this role, you will support both the R&D team in development projects and the Order & Issue Resolution team. Key Responsibilities: Perform mechanical design for development projects and customer orders. Work with simulation tasks. Create and update 3D models and 2D drawings in CREO, ensuring compliance with standards. Manage master data and maintain product structures in PDM systems (Windchill). Generate concepts for new designs, including feasibility analysis and design reviews. Update and maintain technical documentation throughout the product lifecycle. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, production, sourcing) to resolve design-related issues. Requirements: University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Development, or equivalent. Proficiency in CREO CAD software and Windchill PDM. Required skills: Mechanical Design: CREO CAD: Windchill PDM: Technical Documentation: Nice-to-Have Skills: Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) and tolerance analysis.
