Quality Technician - 7pm-7am

Job description

Quality Technician performs quality control inspections, checks, and tests during the manufacture of products in the production area. This position will be responsible for the inspection of materials, parts and products at different stages of production. This position will also communicate / train the quality systems to other Mauser Indianapolis employees as needed and records observations and may make recommendations for improving processes. Responsibilities: - Follows all Safety and Quality procedures and observes the operations to insure a safe environment. - Responsible for ensuring the compliance of “Food Product Safety” & “Product Quality” of the molded product to meet the expectation of our customers. - Knows common practices associated with the proper handling of food grade products per GMP requirements. - Performs daily quality control inspections, checks, functional tests, documents and disseminates results. - Review production schedule and create batch records and labels. - Review and approve completed batch records including “Positive Release” - Complete “First Good Part” approval in timely manner - Verifies “Line Clearance” activities - Escalate issues to appropriate p...
