JOB OVERVIEW: The Production Coordinator plays a vital role in overseeing production by leading a team in a custom-engineered manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include coordinating workflows, setting priorities, delegating tasks, training staff, and ensuring timely completion of work orders to meet client demands. ROLE + RESPONSIBILITIES (includes but not limited to) - Oversee daily scheduling, job delegation, and execution by leading a team of hourly employees. - Interpret and communicate work orders, drawings, and production requirements. - Set daily output expectations and track estimated vs. actual hours. - Manage shop floor inventory and reduce rework. - Optimize fabrication/assembly methods for efficiency and quality. - Collaborate with leadership to align goals and maximize output. - Promote and enforce safety practices and company standards. - Foster a team-based approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement. - Ensure employee performance meets expectations through direct supervision and shop floor presence.
