Roadway Testing Technician II (RTT)

Job description

This Opportunity WSP’s Engineered Construction team is growing, and we have an opportunity for a Roadway Testing Technician II (RTT) in Atlanta, GA to perform field inspections and observations for commercial, industrial, and transportation related construction projects. We are seeking experienced construction engineering inspectors with RTT, ACI (or acceptable GDOT equivalent) and other certifications. Your Impact: - Perform testing on general building sites and facilities - Interpret project plans and specifications for compliance with projects requirements - Perform soil density testing using both nuclear gauge and sand cone in accordance with ASTM and project specifications on site at commercial construction projects - Perform sampling and testing of concrete in accordance with ASTM and project specifications - Prepare and submit written field reports summarizing daily activities/observations and density calculations and results - Observe proof rolls, undercut operations, perform footing inspections with dynamic cone penetrometer, and inspect rebar - Test and work in accordance with Company safety policies - Monitor work procedures for compliance with project specifications - I...
