Overview The Physician – Podiatric Medicine is responsible for providing direct and appropriate clinical care and treatment to Central Health patients in the specialty area of Podiatry. The Physician – Podiatric Medicine time allocation is as follows: 1.0 FTE dedicated to the responsibilities outlined above. This position is considered on site. Responsibilities: Essential Duties:• Provide Podiatry care to primary care and referred patients.• Plan, promote, demonstrate, recommend and coordinate high standards of Podiatric medical practice.• Demonstrated expertise in relevant medical practices, protocol, trends and best practices in clinical areas assigned.• Demonstrated knowledge and success in effecting overall clinical operations.• Proficiency in the use of a computer, software packages, and office machines.• Work within the scope of credentialing privileges.• Prepare and review medical histories and obtain data through interviews.• Examine patients, formulate diagnostic plans, define and order required diagnostic testing.• Interpret examination findings and test results, and implement treatment plans.• Determine need for consultation and assists in medical care and treatment prov...
