Outpatient Oncology Clinical Pharmacist – PRN Nebraska Cancer Specialists is the regional leader in cancer diagnosis, treatment and research. We are seeking a compassionate, caring, kind, and capable Outpatient Oncology Clinical Pharmacist which will serve patients of Nebraska Cancer Specialists (NCS) by preparing medications, giving pharmacological information to multidisciplinary health care team, and monitoring patient drug therapy. Job Duties: - Prepares medications by reviewing and interpreting physician orders; detecting therapeutic incompatibilities. - Dispenses medications by packaging and labeling pharmaceuticals. - Controls medications by developing pharmacy care plans which involve drug therapy monitoring and advisement for interventions. - Completes pharmacy operational requirements by organizing and directing technicians' work flow; verifying their preparation and labeling of pharmaceuticals; verifying order entries, charges, and inspections. - Provides pharmacological information by answering questions and requests of health care professionals; counseling patients...
