Social Worker III - HIV Mental Health - ( 250003EY ) Description The Social Worker III- HIV Mental Health role fosters positive and professional interpersonal relationships with patients/families, physicians, hospital staff, community agency representatives and visitors. Provides comprehensive psychosocial assessment for identified patients and based on findings, facilitates interventions. Effectively uses interpersonal communication skills to resolve conflicts and promote healing environment. The Social Worker III must be credentialed through the CN Medical Staff Office and eligible to bill for services provided in an outpatient setting. They are responsible for independent clinical practice, providing individual, family or group psychotherapy with patients and families. The Social Worker III can provide evaluation and assessment of mental health needs including psychiatric diagnosis and treatment recommendations. More specifically the successful candidate will provide direct and evidence-based psychological and support services to children, adolescents, and young adults living with HIV, as well as patients receiving HIV prevention care (PrEP).
