Description Position: Line Cook: Location: Hive Bakery & Cafe: Position Summary: The Line Cook is responsible for preparing food to order according to Hive Bakery & Cafe’s recipes, procedures, quality expectations, and speed levels. Responsibilities: Food Preparation: - Prepare food according to recipes, procedures, and standards within allowable time guidelines. - Maintain assigned par levels of food items. - Continuously be aware of special events, menu changes, and special orders as necessary. Operational Duties: - Maintain, stock, restock, clean, and organize work area. - Complete opening, side, and closing duties in a timely manner following established standard operating procedures. - Safely operate and maintain cleanliness of equipment. Training and Knowledge: - Complete and pass required training classes and modules—both initial and ongoing. - Be knowledgeable and provide basic information to guests about the restaurant and Hive Collective. Guest Interaction: - Communicate information regarding guest requests, complaints, and ideas to management immediately. - Execute service and hospitality in accordance with Hive Bakery & Cafe standards.
