Simulation Educator (Simulation/Clinical Labs)

Job description

The Johns Hopkins School of Nursing (JHSON) is seeking a Simulation Educator who will serve as the coordinator of simulation education for all programs within the SON. This position reports to the Associate Dean for Simulation & Immersive Learning, and works collaboratively with the simulation team, faculty, staff, and students. This is a hybrid position with at least 3-4 days of in-person work. The educator will develop and continually evaluate, improve, and deliver high-quality simulation-based education consistent with the mission, values, and strategic goals of the JHSON, Johns Hopkins University, and the nursing profession. Specific Duties & Responsibilities: Curriculum Design: - Collaborate with faculty and the simulation team to integrate simulation-based education into curricula across clinical and lab courses, ensuring alignment with learning objectives, best practices, and accreditation standards. - Assist faculty in the design, development, and implementation of simulation activities, including the development of scenarios and tools to measure and track learning outcomes. - Integrate best practices and innovative approaches in healthcare simulation into program design. -...
