Switchgear Mechanical Design Engineer Location: Marietta, Ohio: Job Type: Direct Hire Salary: Compensation starts at $90,000+ depending on experience Position Summary: A growing engineering and manufacturing operation is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer with experience in low-voltage power distribution equipment and UL 891 assemblies. This role will focus on developing production-ready mechanical designs for switchgear systems used in industrial and commercial applications. The position requires strong technical knowledge of switchgear construction, enclosure design, fabrication methods, and compliance requirements. The selected candidate will work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to support projects from concept through production.
