Martin Marietta is currently looking for a motivated CDL Mechanic/Lube Tech to join our team. The individual hired into this position would be responsible for performing mechanical repairs on diesel-powered mobile equipment including troubleshooting and repairs of heavy equipment, rebuilds, removal and installation of mechanical parts, and preventative maintenance on all types of diesel-powered equipment. This will be located at our Woodbine Quarry in Chapman, KS. andnbsp; Key Duties and Responsibilities: - Ability to work safely at all times - Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plant mobile equipment including CAT, Komatsu and Volvo quarry/construction equipment/ diesel engines - Mechanically inclined on a wide variety of hand tools and power tools - Weld, cut and perform minor fabrication on plant or mobile equipment - Other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: - Mechanical analysis - Time Management - Detail orientated - Problem-solving skills - Troubleshooting - Mechanical controls Minimum Experience Required: - HS Diploma or GED required - Minimum 5 years of experience with CAT, Komatsu and Volvo quarry/construction equipment/ diesel engine repairs - Certificat...
