Min USD $15.75/Hr. Max: USD $22.52/Hr. Overview: EVS Technician I performs daily cleaning and restocking of supplies in assigned areas throughout the Medical Center and its affiliated properties. Responsibilities are completed in accordance with established Environmental Services and Infection Prevention and Control procedures to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Shift: Evening Hours: 10:30 PM – 07:00 AM (Every Other Weekend) FTE: 0.5 Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to lift and move objects as required for daily duties. Ability to safely climb ladders when necessary. Ability to perform tasks requiring moderate physical effort. Responsibilities: Understands how soiling occurs, including the difference between soluble and insoluble soil and how each is addressed during the cleaning process. Maintains cleaning carts and Environmental Services closets in a clean, stocked, and organized condition in accordance with department policy.
