Engineering Superintendent

Job Summary: The Engineering Superintendent will lead a team of engineering personnel in planned and unplanned engineering activities for the Hot Mill, focusing on the deployment of Reliability Excellence tools and promoting a culture of problem solving to root cause. The incumbent must be a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills to drive continuous improvement within the maintenance organization. In this role, you will: Support EHS Initiatives: - Ensure execution of department EHS plan. - Demonstrate safe work ethic and promotion of Human Performance (HP) across the department and plant. - Ensure all applicable Federal, State and Local building codes, as well as all applicable Arconic specifications and standards are met and followed for all projects and services performed by Plant. - Focus on Employee Engagement & Development - Development of direct reports using managerial and leadership skills through mentoring and coaching practices, along with formal performance management processes. - Participate in formulation and administration of company policies and the development of long-term goals and objectives. - Lead Reliability Excellence & Continuous Improvement Activiti...
