Job description

ReconCraft is seeking an Outfitter to be r esponsible for assembling and outfitting newly manufactured vessels. Duties include installation of all parts, equipment, components, hardware, and accessories as part of a vessel manufacturing production line. REQUIREMENTS: - Assembling/testing of parts using drawings and bills of material - Point-to-point wiring - Knowledge of cable and harness assembly methods including crimping and soldering - Using common hand and power tools - Familiarity with mechanical assemblies - Following documented procedures in fitting, adjusting and ensuring proper function of parts - Measurements with calipers, tape measures, various gauges, and other devices - Performing minor adjustments to tools and equipment - Inspection of assemblies Education: - High school graduate or GED Required Knowledge/Experience: - Valid driver’s license Preferred Knowledge/Experience: - Recent experience outfitting and assembling vessels or similar systems - Installing outboard and inboard motors - Installing waterjets, stern drives, and other similar propulsion systems - Installing marine electronics - Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge - ABYC certifications are a bonus...
