Position Overview: The Traffic Control Technician is responsible for the safe and effective setup, maintenance, and removal of temporary traffic control systems on active job sites. This role plays a critical part in protecting workers, the traveling public, and ensuring compliance with all applicable traffic control regulations and standards. Key Responsibilities: Traffic Control Setup & Operations: - Install, maintain, and remove traffic control devices including signs, cones, barricades, arrow boards, and message boards - Direct traffic using proper flagging techniques in accordance with MUTCD guidelines - Adjust traffic control setups as needed based on site conditions and supervisor direction Safety & Compliance: - Ensure all traffic control setups comply with federal, state, and local regula...
