SBA/Commercial Servicing Specialist I

Job description

Redwood Credit Union is looking for an SBA/Commercial Servicing Specialist I, who will be responsible for boarding, funding and servicing all loan types in accordance with RCU and SBA policies and procedures. Responsible for managing exception, delinquency, and other department reports. Track all insurance and other requirements of entire loan portfolio on an ongoing basis. Serve as a backup to the SBA/Commercial Servicing Specialist II in many areas such as 1502 reporting and file auditing. Key Responsibilities: - Board, fund, and service all loan types, including SBA loans. - Post SBA loan payments consistent with SBA requirements to avoid significant penalties. - Prepare monthly 1502 reporting to Colson Services for the entire SBA loan portfolio (backup to SBA/Commercial Servicing Specialist II). - Perform review of loan files to ensure they are accurate, complete and closed in accordance with RCU and SBA guidelines (backup to SBA/Commercial Servicing Specialist II). - Coordinate collateral changes and other loan modifications. - Maintain accurate records of loan data, prepare, and remit regular reports, both for internal and external users. - Assist with loan documentation prep...
