Overview Red Wing Properties, Inc., is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team at our Red Hook, NY location. Candidate will operate rubber-tired, tractor type vehicle, equipped with front-mounted-hydraulically-powered scoop, to lift and transport sand and gravel between storage areas, truck dump piles and specific storage piles (mounds), and storage piles to the hoppers of processing plant. Responsibilities: - Performs pre-operational equipment checks and completes daily inspection forms. - Performs pre-shift site inspection per MSHA guidelines. - Loads Trucks - Performs routine maintenance on loader, such as lubricating, fueling, and 250 hour services. - Keep stock piles free of contamination - Keeps yard and roadways well maintained by grading off. Repair potholes, etc. on continual basis. - May be required to assist with plant maintenance - May be required to perform services on other equipment when needed ( - May be required to clean up shop, oil storage area. - May be required to run other equipment as needed. - Use company radio or CB radio to communicate with the scale house and customers to ensure correct material is loaded and that scale house is aware of produ...
