Material Handler / Forklift Operator

Job description

Thompson First Group is seeking a Material Handler/ Forklift Operator for a local client in Glen Rock, PA. Candidates with a background operating a sit down forklift within a warehouse or manufacturing environment are encouraged to apply. General Responsibilities: - Execute assigned responsibilities as directed and according to documented procedures. - Perform activities such as material handling, weighing, packing and other duties as directed. - Accurately and thoroughly fills out process-related paperwork including any batch documentation, truck inspections and chronologs. - Works safely; efficiently organizes work activities maintaining workflow and ensure availability and use of proper materials and tools. Supports LEAN 6S activities as requested. - Complies with company policies, good housekeeping and safety regulations at all times. Maintains a safe and clean work environment; identifies and corrects unsafe practices, conditions or acts.
