Mohs Histotechnician Our bustling practice is growing and searching for a part time OR full time experienced Mohs Histotechnician! Schlessinger MD was founded in 1993 by board-certified dermatologist and cosmetic surgeon Dr. Joel Schlessinger. In this role you will: - This role will be responsible for assisting in Mohs procedures; a common and highly effective treatment for skin cancer that is performed in the clinic by Dr. Schlessinger. - Prepare tissue samples for immediate examination, using rapid tissue processing and frozen section technique to cut, mount and stain tissue samples for Mohs procedures. - Perform daily functions of the Mohs laboratory including opening lab for daily functions, assisting the collection of specimens and accessioning specimens. - Support in preparation and logging of other pathology samples to be sent out for analysis. - Update electronic medical records fo...
