Locality Based Elective Home Education Advisor Grade C - £35,412 - £44,075. Consultation grade - subject to formal evaluation under the Pay Equity review Permanent, Working 36.5 hours per week. The role is hybrid however the post holder would be required to work from Birmingham City Council buildings as business needs dictate. Birmingham City Council is seeking a dedicated Locality Based Elective Home Education (EHE) Advisor to join our Thriving Children and Families division. In this role, you will provide essential support and advice to families, ensuring the education provided at home meets the required standards, and safeguarding the welfare of home-educated children. You will work closely with parents, schools, and multi-agency partners to monitor the suitability of home education and take appropriate action when necessary.
