BHE GT&S has an exciting career opportunity for an Engineer II/Sr Engineer/Sr Engineer II (Mechanical) at our Cove Point LNG facility located in Lusby, MD. Summary: A Mechanical Engineer is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operation, long-term performance, and the reliability of critical plant equipment. Plant equipment includes infrastructure, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, tanks, piping systems, and rotating equipment. This role focuses on preventing equipment failures by leveraging condition monitoring, implementing robust asset strategies, and driving defect elimination efforts. Key responsibilities include enhancing the early detection of equipment degradation through improved condition monitoring programs. Success in this role requires building cross-functional alignment to ensure shared understanding, commitment, and support for reliability-focused initiatives. Additionally, the Mechanical Engineer serves as a champion for reliability best practices and actively mentors others to build an initiative-taking, reliability-centered culture across the organization.
