Building Operator Foreperson

Job description

Position Summary SHIFT: Monday - Friday 7:00AM - 3:30PM Oversee and perform work associated with the installation, maintenance and repair of the building structural systems and their related appurtenances, including but not limited to plumbing systems, electrical systems, landscaping, roofing systems, masonry and woodworking, window, door, wall and ceiling systems. Assign tasks to maintenance mechanics and oversee these activities by assisting in layout, fabrication and assembly problems as required; monitor the quality of work to help insure safety standards are met, monitor work progress to ensure that jobs are completed in a timely and cost effective manner. Qualifications: Required Education: High School Diploma or equivalent Required Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience as a building operator or maintenance mechanic. Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Knowledge of building systems, equipment and proper operating conditions. Knowledge of maintenance routines and standards. Basic knowledge of P.C. database and work processing software packages. Excellent communication skills. Ability to work effectively in an environment subject to frequently changing priorities....
