Position Status: Full time Shift: First Shift (Days - Less than 12 hours per shift) (United States of America) Hours per week: 40 Job Information Exemption Status: Exempt A Brief Overview: The Advanced Practice Provider is responsible for the management and documentation of the medical plan of care prescribed for the patient based on plan adopted jointly by the APP and the supervising physician / medical director. Billing and quality management activities may be part of the responsibilities. Cardiology Inpatient- assess patients and orders appropriate tests and medications; works in conjunction with the physician to help maintain or improve a patient's quality of life. The delivery of professional nursing care at Stormont Vail Health is guided by Jean Watson's Theory of Human Caring and the theory of Shared governance, both of which are congruent with the mission, vision, and values of the organization. Education Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited PA/APRN program.
