VP Area: Arts & Sciences Department: Arts & Sciences: FLSA Status: Exempt: Benefit Eligibility: Yes: Position Summary: The Department of Biology in the Petree College of Arts and Sciences at Oklahoma City University is seeking for one year, non-tenure track Visiting Biology Professor whose innovative and creative instruction will complement and enhance the department’s pre-health profession related programs. While area of specialization is open, preference will be given to candidates with expertise in Human Anatomy, Human Physiology, Microbiology, Immunology, and/or Genetics who can complement the pre-health profession related curriculum. The search committee is especially interested in candidates who, through their teaching, scholarship, and/or service, will contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community. The Department of Biology is interested in candidates who understand the barriers facing different groups of students and are passionate about helping all students meet their academic and career goals.
