Utilities Inspector

Job description

RK&K is seeking a Construction Inspector experienced in water/wastewater utility construction inspection or knowledgeable in infrastructure construction and interested in applying this knowledge on construction sites. In this role you will support a Field Engineering and Inspection project in Onancock, VA. Construction Inspectors work independently on project sites but work closely with project managers, project engineers, construction managers and other team members in provision of construction services on a variety of water, wastewater, stormwater, and related infrastructure and facility projects. Essential Function: - Conduct regular inspections of water/wastewater, stormwater, utilities and related facilities construction projects to verify compliance with approved plans and codes - to include water and sewer utilities - Provide field engineering, construction management and contract support services (submittal review, contract document interpretation, requests for information, correspondence, change requests , and change orders) as needed on site and in office - Ensure that construction workmanship and materials adhere to established industry standards and meet project specifi...
