Pastry Cook - Part Time Department: Bakery 800437: Employment Type: Part Time: Location: Bakery: Reporting To: Crystal Johnson: Description: The Pastry Cook is responsible for preparing and delivering consistent, high quality baked goods and confections while providing exceptional customer service, presentation, and a clean and safe environment. Key Responsibilities: - Prepares pastries on a daily basis, including cookies, cakes, brownies, bars, truffles, icing, frosting, etc. according to established recipes. - Reviews production schedules to determine variety and quantity of goods to bake, as well as supplies and equipment needed. - Gathers ingredients and other supplies from main kitchen and/or pantry, as needed. - Cleans and maintains work areas, utensils and equipment. - Tends to day-to-day problems and needs concerning equipment and/or ingredients. - Works with other team members to complete production sheets and other tasks as required. - Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. - Maintain pace due to event schedule. - May be asked to show new team members standard operating procedures. - Additional duties may be assigned.
