The YMCA of Pierce and Kitsap Counties is seeking a Performing Arts Instructor to join our team. The YMCA focuses on empowering people in all forms, by improving health and well-being and inspiring action in and across our neighborhoods. This position supports the work of the Y, a leading non-profit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. As a Performing Arts Instructor, you will provide leadership, instruction, and motivation for students in performing arts while ensuring a quality experience to students and parents. Key Responsibilities: - Follow/Implement our Association Quality Standards and 9 Dimensions of Well Being into Youth Programming and Staff Development. - Create class lesson plans with a natural progression that relate to the abilities and ages of the classes being taught as well as reflect YMCA core values. - Ensure that all program materials and content are developmentally appropriate and reflect the YMCA mission, values, and service to the community. - Provide lesson plans, supply list, and budget to Arts Director as requested. - Participate in performances, Y Arts Week event...
