Value Stream Leader

Job description

As the Value Stream Leader, you will be working in close communication with management, engineering, and production employees on a daily basis and will be expected to design, develop, test, and evaluate integrated systems for managing industrial processes, including human work factors, quality control, inventory control, logistics, material flow, cost analysis, and production coordination. Location: 54 Morton Avenue East, Brantford, ON Dedicated Day Shift: 8:00am – 4:30pm, Monday – Friday Job Duties: - Support and initiate Lean Manufacturing practices such as 5S, kaizen, continuous improvements, value stream mapping, and visual controls - Coordinate and collaborate between engineering, manufacturing, and sales to develop and achieve production schedule targets - Develop manufacturing and processing procedures including detailed work instructions, drawings, bill of materials, and inspection sheets for each project or work order - Solicit and analyze feedback from shop employees and sales to identify trends and opportunities for improvement - Apply statistical methods for improving utilization of personnel, materials, and utilities - Coordinate the delivery and movement of all materi...
