Tooling Technician (Mold Maker)

Job Description Position Purpose: Maintain all tooling and support production with mold repair/maintenance operations KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Support and maintain all policies of the company including but not limited to ISO Standards, Health and Safety Requirements, Continuous Improvement, as well as standard work procedures. - Interact with engineering, production, and tooling staff when troubleshooting molds. - Identify solutions to complex molding and mold problems as they pertain to injection molding manufacturing. - Create work orders for service of all molds and maintain records as required. - Coordinate the implementation of solutions for needed repairs. - Verify molds are production ready; advise production and engineering of condition of molds. - Train others on operation of equipment in the Tool Repair department. - Other duties as assigned. WORK ENVIRONMENT: - Works in a clean manufacturing and warehouse environment that includes moderate to high noise levels.
