Overview Touro's Lander College for Men is hiring a Finance Adjunct faculty member who is passionate about teaching undergraduate business students and who wishes to make a lasting impact on their futures. Adjuncts are responsible for instruction, course preparation, developing instructional materials, student advisement, grading, and assessment, as a member of the instructional team of a school or academic department. Classes are held on both our central Queens campus (Kew Gardens Hills) and in Brooklyn (Flatbush) on alternating days. Responsibilities: - Teach an undergraduate semester-long course(s) in Finance including introductory and advanced courses. - Maintain regularly scheduled office hours to consult with students concerning academic and career matters. - Prepare and deliver lectures to undergraduate students. - Prepare course materials including: syllabi, exams, homework assignments, and handouts. - Create a classroom environment where students feel comfortable participating and learning. - Prepare students for assessments and provide helpful performance feedback. - Keep up-to-date with advancements in the field and integrating new knowledge into curriculum.
