Overview Abacus Technology is seeking a COMSEC Manager to support controls for COMSEC materials, assist and guide users in COMSEC access, and ensure procedures are followed at Langley AFB. This is a full-time position. Responsibilities: - Ensure all personnel receiving COMSEC material are enrolled in the Cryptographic Access Program (CAP) as required. - Establish and enforce controls so only properly cleared personnel with a legitimate need are permitted access to COMSEC material. - Issue COMSEC material only to appropriately cleared and authorized individuals whose duties require it; advise them of their responsibility for properly safeguarding and controlling the COMSEC material in their possession. - Establish a comprehensive user-training program for all COMSEC Responsible Officers (CROs) and Secure Voice Responsible Officers (SVROs) and their alternates. - Perform a semiannual assessment/audit of both the account and all user accounts. - Provide CROs with applicable status information for the key they are issued. - Process electronic messages received via KMI and take necessary actions to correct any discrepancies. - Provide users guidance on shipping COMSEC-accountable equipm...
