Job description

Description Physician Assistant is responsible to provide high quality patient service to support the provision of care within the urology department in coordination with the Urologist. Interacts with patients, families, and staff members to promote excellent patient care and management in the Urology practice. · Conducts patient assessments including medical history, physical exams, and diagnostic tests. · Assist in diagnosis and treatment of urologic conditions such as kidney stones, urinary tract infections, incontinence, erectile dysfunction, and prostate issues. · Performs or assists with urologic procedures such as cystoscopies, catheter placements and replacements, bladder scans, and urodynamic studies. · Provide preoperative and postoperative patient care and education. · Write and manage patient progress notes, orders, and prescriptions in the electronic medical record. · Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate patient care. · Educate patients and families about diagnosis, procedures, medications, and ongoing care. · Respond to patient inquiries and manage follow-up care. · Communicate with patients via various communication avenues, including secure messaging....
