DEX JOB DESCRIPTION: Job Title: LTL Driver (TBD): Job grade: Job Department: Job Sub - Department: Driver: Job Code: 4 Effective Date: 03/02/2022 JOB SUMMARY: LTL Drivers provide excellent customer service by making prompt and courteous deliverie s of customer orders. Drivers make pick-ups as necessary, performs general warehouse duties and customer assistance as needed. This job includes longer day trips to our central warehouses to smaller locations. While these trips are normally less than four hours each, there is the potential of occasional overnight trips. This individual must perform all job responsibilities in a safe, timely and efficient manner and by performing the duties listed below. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Load truck accurately and safely for customer deliveries. - Unload truck as needed at vendor and/or branch locations. - Drive company vehicle to make customer deliveries and stock pick-ups, obeying traffic laws and safety procedures. - Maintain appropriate licensing, credentials and acceptable driving record. - Perform all duties in a safe and responsible manner, following all safety rules.
