Shop Technician, Lift

Working Hours/Days 7:30 am - 4:00 pm Monday - Friday, overtime when necessary Basic Duties: - Safely perform service and repairs, in the Altorfer shop, on Fork Lifts & Aerial Equipment for Altorfer and its customers. - Troubleshoot and repair electronic diesel engines, hydraulic systems, fuel systems, drivetrain, brake systems and all other systems. - Establish and maintain service-oriented relationships with customers when in the field. - Order parts on computer system data base. - Complete service reports and all other paperwork after repairs are made. - May perform other related duties as requested and/or assigned Qualifications: - Completion of formal technical training program or minimum of three years’ experience in mechanical repair and/or lift truck repair experience. - Previous experience working on electronic diesel engines, hydraulic systems, fuel systems, drivetrain, brake systems, etc. and possess troubleshooting skills required. - Computer literacy required.
