Job Title Temporary Camp Worker (Teacher Aide) Agency: Texas A&M International University Department: Center for Continuing & Professional Education Proposed Minimum Salary: Commensurate Job Location: Laredo, Texas Job Type: Temporary/Casual Staff (Fixed Term) Job Description: Job Summary: The Temporary Camp Worker (Teacher Aide) will provide assistance as they are required to serve as a Teacher Aide for Dusty's Junior University Summer Youth Program. They are responsible to assist the classroom teacher, assist participants with activities and create a safe and positive learning environment. Assist in the Summer Youth Program classroom as needed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assist in the supervision of the participants of Dusty's Junior University Summer Program. Will welcome participants to class, assist the instructor, take participants to and from the restrooms, lunch, classrooms and pickup and departure sites. Perform other duties as assigned by the instructor and/or Operations Manager. Minimum Requirements: Education - High school diploma or post secondary education.
