City/State Woodbridge, VA Work Shift: First (Days) Overview: Sentara Community Care Center Opitz Office is now hiring a Full-Time Medical Assistant in Woodbridge, VA for their Mobile Van! **ALL QUALIFIED CANDIDATES CAN RECEIVE up to a $5,000 SIGN-ON BONUS!** Hours: Monday-Friday 8a-5p and some Saturday per events 1/2 day . Overview: The Medical Assistant performs patient care and administrative and clerical related tasks and procedures based on training, education, and competency evaluations, and as delegated by and under the direction/supervision of the Physician, Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant (NP/PA), Registered Nurse (RN), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). The Medical Assistant provides an environment for safety; identifies, addresses, and incorporates principles of safety for the patient, visitors, and employees. Provides patient care tasks and procedures and administrative duties (as appropriate).
