Job description

Minimum qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. - 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., C++, Java, Go), or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree. - Experience working with relational databases, back-end development, database internals, or distributed systems. - Experience with SQL and data structures. Preferred qualifications: - Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, or a related technical field. - 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms, and distributed systems design (e.g., concurrency control, indexing, transactional systems, multithreading). - Experience with database internals (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL), query optimization, compilers, or data storage. - Experience building managed services, specifically within the databases or storage domains, or Transaction Processing Performance Council (TPC) benchmarks (e.g., TPC-C, TPC-H). - Experience developing accessible technologies.
