We are seeking an experienced and proactive Human Resources Manager to lead and support our people strategy across the Jo Mercer and Wittner brands. Working between 2 offices with your direct report, this is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment and is passionate about building strong teams and driving organisational performance. Key Responsibilities: - Partner with senior leadership to deliver strategic HR initiatives aligned with business goals. - Award interpretation experience is essential- preferably the General Retail Industry Award. - Provide expert advice on employee relations, performance management, and workplace policies. - Manage and optimise HR systems, with a strong focus on Employment Hero. - Lead learning and development initiatives to enhance team capability. - Ensure compliance with employment legislation and best practice HR standards. - Drive employee engagement, culture, and retention strategies. - Manage pre and post payroll in collaboration with outsourced provider (via Employment Hero). - Previous experience managing a direct report or small teams.
