Color Formulation Specialist Department: Operations: Employment Type: Full Time: Location: New Braunfels, Texas: Reporting To: Color Formulation Supervisor: Description: We are CURRENTLY seeking a phenomenal Color Formulation Specialist to join our team! What does a typical day look like? I'm glad you asked! As a member of the Operations Department, the Color Formulation Specialist is responsible for color development and release for production use in the PEM Process. Optimizes color formulations to reduce the impact on our Printing Processes. Key Responsibilities: You will: - Development and production color matching using PVC and/or water based colorants - Communicate / Collaborate with PDS group, CSS, and Color Formulation team - Enter/maintain related color formulations on controlled documents, records, SAP, and production systems - Compile daily reports - Collect “run samples” - Conduct visual color checks on PEM line. Quality Hold secondary checks - Conducts analysis of Printing results and optimizes the PLA Pigment to reduce the impacts of PEM proofing time - Assist in the evaluation of new pigments and materials to allow continuous improvement in this area - Maintain standa...
