Responsibilities: Under the supervision of the Coordinator, Adult Mental Health Services/Crisis Services serves as a professional performing a wide range of direct and indirect mental health services, including answering the crisis phone lines, conducting crisis intervention encounters with individuals on the phone, providing brief Solution Focused Therapy, teaching coping skills, conducting de-escalation, aiding individuals with problem-solving, connecting with appropriate level of care, and working with police, 911 call center, and other providers as needed. Additional duties include documenting contacts, providing support via data entry into the electronic records system, recommending referrals to various programs, program components, or other services in the community, and assisting with hospital referrals/placements for inpatient needs.
