Job description

Here at The Exploration Company, we are developing, producing, and operating Nyx, a modular and reusable space orbital vehicle that can eventually be refuelled in orbit and that can carry cargo - and potentially humans in the longer run. We are also developing advanced propulsion systems to power our spacecraft programs. As Lead Propulsion Assembly & Test, you will drive the strategy and execution of propulsion AIT across all engine programs, reporting to the Chief MAIT and leading multiple senior principals and teams. This role owns the roadmap, technical direction, and operational performance of propulsion assembly and test capabilities — from facility strategy and site selection to delivery and operations of major test assets. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership: Own the Assembly, Integration and Test (AIT) roadmap for all propulsion systems across programs in collaboration with the different projects design teams. Define development priorities, capability maturation plans, and long-term test strategy in alignment with program needs.
