Employment Type: Full time Shift: Day Shift Description: Position Summary: - This position requires prior medical office or patient access front desk experience (must have knowledge of insurance verification, scheduling, authorizations, etc., and EPIC experience highly preferred). Will be responsible for overseeing the front desk to ensure smooth patient flow throughout the day while multitasking and taking initiative. - This is a full-time position Monday – Friday, start time varies 7:45am to 8:00am – 4:30pm with excellent benefits starting your first day of employment! What you will do: - Answer phones promptly. - Schedule patient appointments. - Verify validity and coverage of insurance and obtain HMO/PPO authorizations, referrals if applicable. - Register patients by obtaining information and interpret information in terms of the patient's needs. - Confirms demographics with patient any changes in address, phone number, or insurance information. - Enters all changes in the IDX System and documents any information regarding the account or patient information on the comment screen/sticky notes.
