Accounting and Financial Reporting Fall Intern

Job Description: This is a student Fall (early August – December 2026) intern/co-op position responsible for staff accounting functions in the Accounting and Finance Department of altafiber. Responsibilities: Education: - Assist in preparation of reports that are filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission, including quarterly financial statements (Form 10-Q), annual financial statements (Form 10-K), employee benefit plans (Form 11-K) and other reports - Perform various analyses of the Company's financial results - Assist with the monthly close process including preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations - Assist with special projects as needed - Candidate pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred - No previous job experience, certification, licenses, or other experiences required Special Knowledge/Skills: - Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment - Computer skills including Microsoft Excel preferred - Excellent written and oral communication skills - Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills - No previous job experience, certification, licenses, or other experiences required
