Market Range: 07 Hiring Salary: $20.65/Hourly: THIS IS A GRANT-FUNDED POSITION FUNDED UNTIL SEPTEMBER 30, 2026: JOB SUMMARY/ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: The Intervention Specialist works in the Center for Youth Advocacy and Well-Being (CYAW). The CYAW works to improve the health and well-being of youth and families to thrive in their homes and communities. This position assists children and families in coordinating the delivery of health, wellness, and mental health services by assisting with the navigation of child-serving, educational and human/social services systems. Interviews youth and families to determine programs needed and aid in the navigation of community-based services. Advocates for and empowers youth and families to seek the best solution for their youth and families in education, medical, and behavioral health systems. Aids youth and families in accessing treatment and resources necessary to build resiliency and foster success in the home, school, and community; meets with youth and families in the community or school.
