Summary Job Description: Seeking Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse! Baptist Health Floyd, 2F Step-Down ICU Full-time (36 Hours Weekly), Nights (7pm-7am) Benefit Eligible: $$ Up to $30K Sign on Bonus Eligible for Experienced External Candidates Only $$ Job Duties: In this role, the RN/LPN will be responsible and accountable for direct comprehensive nursing care for the patient from admission to discharge. The Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse will function as an on-shift team member providing direct patient care to meet the needs of patients, families, and co-workers. About the Unit: The Step-Down ICU, also known as 2F, is a 16-bed intermediate level of care unit between the Inpatient Units and the Critical Care units. While the unit specializes in septic and respiratory compromised (COPD, PNA, Respiratory Failure) patients, nurses will encounter a variety of diagnoses, such as CHF, dysrhythmias, DKA, Hemodialysis and Peritoneal dialysis, AMS, etc. While working closely with an interdisciplinary team, nurses provide excellent care for a high acuity-based population. 2F is a great place for nurses to cultivate and expand their assessment skills while managing se...
