Summary Job Description: The Patient Care Technician Float will be responsible for the examination and treatment of patients under the direct supervision of the provider. Duties include but not limited to the following: check in patients, obtain vital signs (height, weight, blood pressure, pulse, pulse oximetry, temperature) medication reconciliation, patient medical history information, expediting patient flow, rooming patients, stocking clinic with supplies, navigating electronic health record system (EPIC), and performing other non-clinical duties as needed. This position requires daily travel to the various practices within the coverage area.
