Full Time: Job Summary: The incumbent will serve as Perfusionist responsible for performing perfusion on cardiac surgical patient, cell saver on orthopedic, cardiac and neurosurgical patients. In addition to the procedures all equipment, supplies, and documentation must be maintained in accordance with all regulatory rules. Perfusionist responsibilities will approximately equal 90% and cell saver activity will represent approximately 10%. Minimum Education: Appropriate degree from approved program in Health Science or related field; Graduation from a CAHEA (AMA's Committee on Allied Health, Education and Accreditation). Licensure, Registration and/or Certification: Current licensure as a perfusionist by Oklahoma State Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision. Work Experience: 1 - 2 years related experience, preferred. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Effective interpersonal, written and oral communications. Demonstrated patient care skills.
