EFFECTIVE DATE : April 2026 FLSA: Salaried, Non-exempt: JOB TITLE: Transit Grants Coordinator: DEPARTMENT: Grants and Procurement: REPORTS TO: Director of Grants and Procurement JOB FUNCTION: The purpose of this position is to provide professional support and ongoing management assistance of the Federal Transit Administration (FTA), Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT), City of Memphis grants and any other grants. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLILITIES: - Assist s the Director of Grants and Procurement in administering the Federal Transit Administration (FTA), Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT), City of Memphis and other agencies’ program grants including formula and discretionary grants for transit capital, operating and planning projects. This also includes management of all detail s of pre- and post-award grants. - Obtains required information internally and externally to draft documents for grant applications and grant-related reports. - Utilizes FTA, TDOT, City of Memphis and other agencies’ system software to apply for and track grants and other reporting requirements ( i.e. ridership, revenue hours and miles, preventive maintenance and ADA Paratransit Ser...
