Respiratory Therapist (RT) - Position Overview: At Elderwood at Williamsville, we are seeking Respiratory Therapists (RTs) to join our clinical network. Respiratory Therapist team members assist with ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by carrying out skilled respiratory therapy treatments. Elderwood at Williamsville includes WNY's only non-hospital 20-bed dedicated vent unit. Responsibilities: Screens and provide an in-depth evaluation of the needs of ventilator and respiratory clients. Consult with the attending physician regarding treatment protocol. Make written recommendations for interdisciplinary care planning and treatment. Inform residents or qualified representative about care and treatment plan and possible outcomes of treatment, or lack of treatment if resident refuses participation in a respiratory rehabilitation program.
